It’s All About the Product Packaging

by Roxanne C.

I’m the kind of girl who will buy something just because the product packaging looks awesome. It’s what catches my eye, to be honest. If I want something that’s classy and elegant, I’ll go for something like a Chanel Rouge. If I want something sleek and professional-looking, I’d pick a compact that is black and glossy. But sometimes, I want something that is unique, pretty, has interesting graphics on it and would brighten up my day when I look at it. The product itself is secondary unless I already know of it myself.

Here are some really interesting ones I found off the ASOS cosmetics website in the past 10 minutes or so.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer (alternative to Urban Decay Primer Potion)

Paul & Joe Limited Edition Lipstick

Jelly Pong Pong Muffin & Meringue Gloss Set

Bourjois Limited Edition 2009 Vintage Blush (I believe they are selling this in Singapore as well)

Benefit One Hot Minute Sexy In Seconds Face Powder

Benefit Gabbi Make Up Bag

So, what do you think? Does product packaging do it for you or do you stick religiously to the things that you’ve always used?
