Haul: Galeries Lafayette, Sephora and Debby

by Roxanne C.

I really love discovering beauty products and brands from all over the world. Here, I have new items from Galeries Lafayette and Debby, two brands that are exclusive in Europe. A little something about these brands before I show you what I bought:

Galeries Lafayette is a luxury shopping mall that has branches all over France and houses some of the most famous designer brands from all over the world. You can find the popular Longchamp bag brand or many of the high end cosmetics brands like Dior and Chanel.

Debby is a popular Italian brand but their products are distributed outside of the country as well. The brand’s target customers are usually teenagers or young adults. I’ve just begun discovering this brand of cosmetics and so far online product reviews have not been disappointing. Now on to my buys!

A brush, lip balm and nail polish.

Sephora's Lip Balm SPF 15.

I noticed some brown spots on my lips recently and decided that my Labello lipbalm wasn’t giving me the sunscreen that I needed. So I hopped over to Sephora to see what I could find and this was what I returned home with. A cute hot pink-and-black bottle that has a cap that flips open and close. Pretty! I’m going to be using this in the day and save my Labello one for the night.

Debby's Colorplay Nail Polish in 93.

Saw this gorgeous glittery nail polish while doing grocery shopping one day at Monoprix. I felt it looked a little like one of OPI’s Katy Perry nail polishes and it was at half the price. This one is selling fast at the moment. It’s out of stock at the Monoprix near my apartment and I got the last bottle at the Monoprix downtown.

Galeries Lafayette's Angled Blush Brush No. 12.

I decided to get a new angled blush brush because the current blush brush I have from Bobbi Brown isn’t angled and the bristles are kind of dying. Some of them are twisted beyond repair, I think, from my carelessness in storing them. I promise to take better care of my Galeries Lafayette brush!

My Bobbi Brown travel-sized blush brush head.

Phew! That’s a whole lot for just three items. I’m pretty excited about my new buys and I can’t wait to use them!
