I’ve been quite busy the past few days due to work. Well, it’s not technically work, more of taking a chance at a future that I want to have. I spent the entire Friday travelling to and from Paris to settle a PhD application process. I’m hoping that everything goes well and that I’ll be able to work in Paris for the next 3 years! Friday wasn’t enough for my application process so I had to spend my weekend working on it as well. Now all I’ve got to do is wait for the jury’s decision.
Anyway, I got this razor as a mistake when all I had wanted to do was to get new blades for my current one (also a Gillette Venus). There was a discount coupon stuck on the Spa Breeze box, which would have made the Spa Breeze cheaper than a box of new blades for my current Venus. Turns out, the coupon is supposed to be used for my next purchase of a Gillette Venus Spa Breeze! My bad.
But I guess it could be a blessing in disguise. I like the Spa Breeze razor not only because of its design but also because it has a light scent of white tea!
Completely new
Box opens up to reveal two blades
I forgot to take a picture of the razor blades. They’re pretty cool because they’ve got shaving gel bars at the top and bottom ends of the 3 blades, removing the need for using additional shaving gel! Just wet it and start shaving. My skin is pretty sensitive most of the time (even to sweat, which I found out during my cheerleading days) and what surprised me was that I didn’t get any negative reaction to the gel bars.
The colour of the razor is also a pretty light metallic peachy pink. I haven’t used this for long enough to comment more but so far I like it!
