Top 10 Luxury Beauty Products Worth Buying

by Roxanne C.

Everyone’s got a list of their Top 10 of something. Here’s my list of the Top 10 luxury beauty products worth your money. Do you own any of them?

The Diorskin Forever Compact Foundation.

1) The Diorskin Forever Compact Foundation

I love this foundation! It’s the one I use everytime I head outdoors. It goes on silky smooth and gives an even finish with buildable coverage. Love it!

The Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush.

2) The Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush

I own this blush too, in the shade Carefree Coral. It gives just the right amount of shimmer and coral to my complexion. Perfect for that radiant smile in the evenings.

The Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil.

3) The Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil

I use the one for sensitive skin and although a little expensive, it works very well as an all-over makeup remover. This product dissolves the day’s makeup and does not strip your skin dry.

The ever popular pigments from M.A.C.

4) The M.A.C. Pigment

These were one of the first makeup items I came across when first messing around with cosmetics. I don’t yet own any but would love to one day have at least a couple to call my own. The pigments are one of M.A.C.’s more well-received products and the shimmer and glitter effects these have are superb.

The Laura Mercier Secret Concealer.

5) The Laura Mercier Secret Concealer

One of the more popular concealers in the market is the Laura Mercier Secret Conceler. The different shades can be mixed to get the exact shade that suits you, if you can’t find one that does. I suggest getting two of these – one in the shade of your winter skin and the other in the shade of your skin during the summer.

The YSL Rouge Volupté lipstick.

6) The YSL Rouge Volupté

Ça, c’est <<La Crème>> pour les levres. Extremely pigmented, and coming in a wide range of colours, it’s not possible to not find something that will suit any occasion. The Rouge Volupté also plumps up lips and make everyone else wish they could kiss you.

The Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Intenses eyeshadows.

7) The Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Intenses Eyeshadow

This comes in 16 shades in the permanent range. They are extremely pigmented and each shade is a magical combustion of at least two different colours. Giorgio Armani Beauty occasionally comes up with limited edition shades, which I highly recommend grabbing when you can.

The Sigma Beauty Essential Kit (Mrs. Bunny).

8) The Sigma Beauty Essential Kit (Mrs. Bunny)

I’m obsessed with this brush kit from Sigma Beauty. This set is pretty extensive, consisting of brushes for almost all makeup applications, such as eye liner and concealor. The Essential Kit comes in 6 different colour combinations but I love Mrs. Bunny the most because of the cute colours!

The Chanel Coco Mademoiselle fragrance.

9) The Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Fragrance

A classic. What more can I say? It’s not as sophisticated as No. 5 but still smells as elegant. People are always intrigued by it whenever I wear it. The verdict is that if cab drivers say they love your perfume, you hit the nail.

The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.

10) The Urban Decay 24-7 Glide On Eye Pencil

Highly coveted by many, the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils by Urban Decay makes the cut as one of the Top 10. They come in a whole lot of shades, are truly pigmented and glide smoothly onto lids. It’s better value for money when you get the sets (there are several) instead of individual pencils.

This is my entry for the DuWop, Hydrogel etc giveaway. My favorite and most informative article I've read that actually gives a good review on luxury products. I would love to purchase the YSL Lipsticks (all of them if I can afford it) and the Laura Mercier Concealer. =) This isn't one of those boring old blogs that just lists things or gives vague names. You actually describe it.

Great list. I'm not a Coco fan though so I would probably switch that to Hypnose by Lancome.
