Haul and Rave: Beauty Shopping on Luxola

by Roxanne C.

Over the last weekend, Luxola had 25% off everything on their online store (except for sale items) so I decided to stock up on some makeup items. I saw the new Edward Bess products and tra-la-la, added the Quad Royale in South of France into my basket. I also seized the opportunity to buy the Deborah Lippmann nail polish in Ruby Red (been wanting to get that shade since forever).

This wasn’t my first time getting stuff from Luxola and I’d just like to do a review on the store. Initially, when Luxola was first launched in Singapore, they didn’t have that many brands. The ones I remember they had were Sleek Makeup; Deborah Lippmann; Face Atelier; Korres; Mario Badescu; Duwop and Julie Hewett. But now, they’ve got many many more brands such as Sigma Makeup; Estelle & Thild; Becca Cosmetics; Love and Toast; Models Own; MOR; By Terry; StriVectin and more.

The best thing about Luxola isn’t about the brands that they carry (they are so difficult to find in Singapore), nor about the free samples that come with your order, but about the free next-day delivery service they offer. And they deliver right to your doorstep, no less! Everything you order comes in a cute litle Luxola paper bag with grey cloth handles, and the delivery guy wears this cute Luxola shirt to match. On top of that, they send you an sms on your mobile to let you know when your package is going to be delivered. It reads something like this:

“Hi Roxanne. Thanks for shopping at Luxola. Your online order is on its way. You should receive the package within the next 1 hour.”

They send me a personalised text message with my name in it! Every single time. How thoughtful is that? It makes me feel really nice and for a few minutes of my life, I feel like a V.I.P. I’ve never met a company with such prompt delivery service! Of course, if you place your order on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you’ll get your items on Tuesday. And if you place your order on a public holiday, you’ll get your items two days later – or on the second working day after the holiday ends.

Anyhow, I hope that Luxola will continue to bring in more products! I hope one day we’ll get to see more Deborah Lippmann polishes and makeup from Sigma Beauty. And actually, I think that if Luxola hired hot male models to deliver their items, all the women will go crazy buying stuff (nevertheless, their current delivery men are freaking awesome). Hop on over to Luxola right now for some serious beauty shopping!

Hey Roxanne,
I've seen Luxola ad all over the website and I was thinking is it a good place to shop. So I googled review about Luxola and stumbled at your blog :). Nice review.
Can I ask? Is the website secure and is it a good place to shop for skincare? (*not a big fan of make up) 😉

Hello Qifa,

I've shopped at Luxola for quite a few times now, and I am very satisfied with their service and products! I've not tried the skincare items they sell, so I recommend you find out more about the individual products first before buying them. But you won't be disappointed with the people at Luxola, I'm sure! Happy shopping!

xoxo,
Roxanne
