Neutrogena Deep Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

The very first lesson every girl has learnt in the makeup world is this: Remove it at the end of every day. Ever since we’ve dabbled in the world of foundation, blush and eye colour, we’ve been told how important it is to take it all off again. And so on top of finding that perfect facial cleanser, we also need to now consider makeup removers. Oh, what a chore!

My favourite makeup remover is the Shu Uemura Ultime8 Cleansing Oil, which has made it into my list of favourite beauty items. It’s expensive but every make up maniac must have a good makeup remover! The only thing about this cleansing oil is that it gives me blurred vision during the day, so I sought high and low for a remover specifically for eye makeup.

I wasn’t willing to splurge again on a second makeup remover, so a trip to the local drugstore was sufficient. Thankfully, I found the Neutrogena Deep Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover!

It may have different layers, but it’s oil-free and is enriched with aloe and cucumber extracts.

I love this remover; It’s now on my favourites list too! The price is very affordable at about S$15 (most likely less), and it can be found at Watsons and NTUC Fairprice. Because Neutrogena is a brand that many teenagers use, it’s not hard to find. Now just to let you know, I don’t use cotton pads to remove my makeup due to hygiene reasons. (Do you know just how much bacteria breeds on one cotton pad?!) All I do is to shake this bottle to mix the different layers of solution inside, pour some onto my hand, and then apply it to my eye area. It dissolves makeup fast, does not sting my eyes and does not make me see things all fuzzy!

For something that works, I recommend this product to anyone who’s searching for a decent eye & lip makeup remover that won’t break the bank.

Have you used the Neutrogena Deep Clean Eye & Lip Makeup Remover? What are your thoughts?
