3 ways to wear prints

Believe it or not, everyone can wear prints, even you! Yes, you! Maybe you’re not so keen on bright, bold colour blocking. Or maybe you just prefer sticking to something more understated, something that can take you from day to night, from weekday to weekend. But prints show off your attitude, girl! Here are three ways to wear prints, whether you’re the sassy babe, or the more casual, low-down type.

Dress | Romwe

Hat | Romwe

Bag | Romwe

Earrings | Style by Stories

Lipstick | Lipstick Queen

Heels | River Island

If you like bold colours, why not go all out and accessorise with a vintage bowknot hat? Any jewellery you wear should not take the attention away from the dress, so pearl earrings can do the trick! Show off those gams you’ve got with power heels (sandals are a great chance to let the world lay its eyes upon your magnificent pedicure). A small body bag fits just about enough to bring you around town, and a pink lippie adds that final touch of colour to your complexion so you aren’t overpowered by all the jazz!

Crop Top | River Island

Skirt | SheInside

Bag | Romwe

Bangle | Ann Taylor

Pumps | Nine West

A crop top usually goes well with a high-waisted midi skirt (check out my recent outfit post, “The Pouffy”). Play with colours, while donning prints in a more subtle way. Prints don’t always have to be loud! Add a hint of gold to play up the glam factor, and pumps that are great for walking will take you places (I love Nine West shoes).

Top | Splendid

Dungaree | River Island

Scarf | River Island

Clutch | ASOS

Bracelet | Marc by Marc Jacobs

Lipstick | Make

Sandals | Loeffler Randall

Not the dressy type? There’s always something for everybody! Whenever I think of dungarees, no doubt the image of painting a new room comes into mind (with the newspaper hat and all). But dungarees also remind me of ice cream cones on a hot summer afternoon, so what’s not to like? The classic look is to pair it with a white top, whether it’s sleeveless or not. A printed scarf adds some colour, as does a paint splatter bangle. Prints can also look good on your clutch! Finally, a pair of brown sandals and some red lips will give you that added burst of energy while you ride your bicycle down the street!

So what do you think? Which of these three looks will you most likely wear?
