There’s a reason a huge part of my heart lies with France. While fondue, raclette and saucisson really add up to my calorie count, you can’t dismiss the kind of nature you can find here.
Almost every winter (at least) since about 7 years ago, I’ve been making my way here to enjoy the great outdoors and last year was no exception. It’s such a great feeling to be away from the hustle and bustle in a condensed city like Singapore, and just be one with Mother Earth.
Today’s outfit was what I wore when we spent an afternoon hiking in the mountains. I suppose I’m living proof you can wear a leather jacket and a dress while roughing it out against the cold and random twigs.
Dress: Forever 21

Scarf: street stall in Seoul
Black Leggings: Uniqlo

I love the woods and the mountains. It’s quiet, peaceful and so romantic. Ain’t a fan of the steep slopes and uneven ground, but you’ve got to do what it takes to reduce the damage from eating too much cheese and potatoes.
If you’re interested, I blogged a tutorial to get these gorgeous glitter nails. My boots might be super for the winter but I think it might be time to get a smaller pair of Dr. Martens for the summer. What do you think?
