I recently get asked this question a lot: “What is your typical day like?” And believe it or not, ever since I decided to be my own boss, I’ve found it very hard to answer that.

A typical day? There’s no such thing as a typical day. For one, I could be spending all day in front of my iMac, planning my social media posts and strategy for both this blog and Trouvée.Co and nothing else. On another day, I could be reading, having tea for breakfast, followed by the 7-Minute Crop Top Abs Workout by Blogilates (see below), designing new pieces for Trouvée.Co and sending emails to other brands to pitch for collaborations.

And then, on another day, I could be filming videos for my YouTube channel to share my exciting hauls and tutorials with you, taking flat lays right beside my window and ending the night with some French homework. Sometimes, I may have a guest or two and I’ll have to clean the apartment so people don’t think I’m a slob. And on some days I just don’t do anything because I just had a previous day full of meetings and the introvert in me needs to recharge, so I’ll watch a movie or read. Oh, the possibilities are endless!

And I LOVE it!

The main thing about going at it alone, instead of being salariée, is exactly this. That I live my life, doing the things that are meaningful to me, and that I feel would lead to greater things ahead. Working towards my life goals is the best feeling ever, because it fills me with so much hope and encouragement. And in the quiet of the night, when all is done and well, I hear this voice coming from inside me that tells me that everything is going to be OK. You’re going to be OK.

And that’s the most important thing of all.

What about you? Do you have a typical day?
