You know me. The one beauty blogger whose skin cannot take anything that contains alcohol. And by “alcohol” I mean everything that looks like this: alcohol denat., cetyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol… as long as it contains the word “alcohol” in it, I can’t use it. If I so much as touch it on my face, my skin will itch, turn red, scaly, dry and patchy and make me look diseased.
Don’t get me started on going for a dinner with alcohol on the table and not having at least foundation on my face. My skin is so sensitive to this ingredient that even the alcohol that evaporates from wine glasses will give me a reaction, I’m serious.
Sooooo, when I chance upon a beauty product that does not have alcohol on the list, by hook or by crook, I will try it. And with the Torriden Dive-In Low Molecule Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I am not disappointed at all!
This serum works wonders–as a serum–to moisturise my skin well. I see a difference in the texture of my skin after just a couple of uses. Because it’s so lightweight and absorbs easily, I can use this during the day. There is no noticeable scent, and the product spreads easily over the skin leaving behind no greasiness or stickiness.
The bottle is transparent to a large extent, and seems to have a light blue tint on it to make the entire product look pretty. The dispenser is a dropper, and since the bottle is made of plastic, I know I can safely travel with it without any spillage or breakage. The cool thing about the packaging I realised, is that it seems to have a catch at the inner part of the bottle neck so that you don’t bring up extra product when removing the dropper. I’ve tried to show this in the photo above, but it may not be easy to see.
…this product is vegan, cruelty-free and the packaging is made from eco-friendly, recycled, sustainable materials.
The key ingredients of the Torriden Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum are the 5D complex low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (so that the molecules can penetrate the surface of the skin to moisturise the deeper layers), panthenol and allantoin–all great moisturising ingredients. Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Trehalose, Betaine, Propanediol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Ceramide NP, Beta-Glucan, Malachite Extract, Cholesterol, Pentylene Glycol, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, PVM/MA Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Xanthan Gum, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract and Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract.
If you love our environment, you’ll also be glad to know that this product is vegan, cruelty-free and the packaging is made from eco-friendly, recycled, sustainable materials.
I currently have the 50ml bottle but will repurchase the 100ml one once it runs out. I definitely recommend this product if you’re looking to boost your skin’s health with a daytime serum and none of the icky ingredients. And, of course I’m bringing this with me on my trip to Phuket next week!
