The Body Shop Holiday 2013 Collection

The Body Shop has launched their Holiday 2013 Collection as well, joining the recent slew of brands all getting us hot and excited about Christmas. In this entry, I’m only featuring the makeup items that will be coming out in November, as well as some of the items from the body care range. It’s not really possible to feature everything because there’re just too many!

First up is the 2013 Winter Trend Special Edition Collection. This collection comprises several old favourites and new limited edition products, such as The Sparkler in new shades, specially for the holiday season.

The Body Shop Holiday 2013 Collection

The 4-Step Smoky Eye Palette Smoky Brown Box, S$39.90.

The All-in-One BB Cream above, S$32.90, comes in two shades, 00 and 01. Shade 01 is darker than 00. You can get it online at The Body Shop US for US$20 a tube.

Carbon Eye Definer in Brown and Plum, S$19.90 each.

There are also 4 Colour Crush Lipsticks to add to the collection. Introducing Peachy Pink, Sweet Coral, Red Siren and The Right Mauves! Each of them are priced at S$22.90 and you can get them online at The Body Shop UK for £10 each.

Looking for shimmer? Then might I suggest you apply a generous amount of body lotion on your collarbones and literally blow some sparkle on top with The Sparkler, S$39.90. It comes in two shades, Enchanting Gold and Boudoir Pink.

For a more traditional way of applying shimmer, i.e. with a brush and shimmer balls, I present to you the Slanted Kabuki Brush, S$32.90, and the special edition Shimmer Bauble, S$34.90. This would work best on cheekbones to add that touch of radiance where the candlelight hits.

In addition to the makeup collection, the body care product lineup (part of The School Project, which you can read more at Jermaineee’s blog here) for The Body Shop Holiday 2013 Collection is also pretty extensive. Here are just a few of my picks to give you an overall feel. Say hello to the Vanilla Bliss, Ginger Sparkle and Cranberry Joy ranges!

The Body Shop Holiday 2013 Collection

The Vanilla Bliss Shower, Scrub and Moisture Collection, S$39.90. I’m loving that Vanilla Bliss Heart Soap, S$6.90!

The Body Shop Holiday 2013 Collection

The Festive Trio Hand Cream, S$29.90.

The Body Shop Holiday 2013 Collection

The Cranberry Joy Shower and Moisture Set, S$19.90.

Although many of the items come in sets, you can also purchase them individually. The thing about sets is that you can break them up and gift the contents to more people, but you lose the pretty packaging that comes with them. Hard to decide, I know!

So tell me, is there something you think you’ll get from The Body Shop this year?
