One day, I decided that simply doing occasional face scrubs wasn’t good enough in getting rid of all my black heads and dirt stuck in my pores. Sometimes they were efficient, sometimes they were not. So I finally bought Biore’s Pore Pack off eBay to try the pore strips out. Read my review below (picture of used pore strip included)!
Biore’s Pore Pack has been around since like, forever and I know many girls swear by them. They are used on the nose area to get rid of stubborn black heads. Each pack contains 10 strips, each to be used only once. To use them, simply wet your skin and paste the strip over your nose. Wait for about 10 to 15 minutes and then slowly peel the strip (with the black heads) off. Don’t wait for longer than the recommended time because if you do, you’re going to have a lot of trouble pulling the strip off! Also, the strips are not to be used on pimples and problematic areas (sunburnt skin, etc) and can only be used at most once every three days.
– I have not had any allergic reactions to the strip.
– The strip works. It really does pull out the blackheads that aren’t removed with exfoliating. Here’s a picture of my used pore strip below (rollover to see the original – and pretty gross – picture):

– This strip is easy to use and fuss-free. Just leave it on for 10 minutes and then remove. You also don’t have to leave it on for long.
– Finally, the price is worth it. You can find it easily in any drugstore or pharmacy (in Singapore). Even if you want to buy it online, there are many sellers on ebay for this product and it can be shipped internationally, unlike liquids.
– The strip dries up really fast and it can be quite hard to remove afterwards. 10 minutes is good for me and if I leave it on for longer, my, it hurts like CRR-RAY-ZEE when i peel it off (so I have to wet it)!
I like this product. For the price and the effects, it’s a good purchase and I would get it again after my pack finishes. I mean, just seeing my blackheads removed in their entirety on the strips is soooo satisfying!
