Holiday Look

Laura Mercier Eye Art Artist's Palette Tutorial

Hello there! I’m finally back from Seoul – what a wonderful time to just be chilling in cafes and watch the world go by. But now that I’m back in rainy Singapore, here’s another video I filmed. This time, I’ve created another holiday look in case the previous one was a bit too heavy for you.

Today’s look is courtesy of the Laura Mercier Eye Art Artist’s Palette for the year, which is a palette filled with gorgeous purples, peaches and a good espresso black for the smoky eye look. The colours are quite pigmented, though if you’re afraid of something that’s too much, you don’t need to use a wet brush and can still get a good enough effect (like in my tutorial).

Today’s holiday look video is titled “African Violet,” which is the name of my favourite shade from the palette. I know you can see imperfections on my skin even though foundation has already been applied before filming. I’m quite afraid of concealers, to be honest, because my skin is so sensitive that liquid or cream products just have me reeling away in fear with good reason. So if you have a regular concealer routine before this, just go ahead with it.
