Review: Nivea’s Goodbye Cellulite Gel Cream

by Roxanne C.

I’ve been using this gel for a little over a month now and what better time to write about it. I got this at Monoprix, the French equivalent of Cold Storage, at a discounted price (no mix-ups this time). See what I have to say!

Nivea's Goodbye Cellulite Gel Cream.

The gel contains lotus and L-carnitine extracts and is said to be effective even without massaging into the skin. Lotus extracts are known to reduce cellulite while L-carnitine is naturally present in our skin but sometimes in quantities that are insufficient to prevent cellulite from forming.

– The price is afffordable, unlike many of the high-end ones like Chanel’s Precision range.

– It smells heavenly! It doesn’t smell like creams or lotions, more like a perfume or fragrance. I love it because it makes me feel like I’m being pampered with awesome stuff when I use it. You know, like when you go to a spa.

– *Drumroll* It works without me having to massage it in! Sometimes, when I’m sitting in the trams and the cabin vibrates, I can feel my fats melting away! No kidding, I’ve never felt that before in my life! Kind of like what you’d feel when you start using Osim’s uZap belt. My thighs have definitely toned up and my butt doesn’t look that dimpled anymore.

I wish it would get rid of more cellulite! I still have some since the product doesn’t remove everything.

I would recommend this to anyone who’s into the idea of cellulite removal with gels. I use this twice daily and I think it works better when you apply it just after a shower because your skin absorbs it better. I suppose you can’t go wrong if the angels from Victoria’s Secret are ambassadors of the product and everyone knows how great – and “fatless” – their bodies are. You won’t see immediate results so you’ll have to be patient. Cellulite doesn’t accumulate in a day, so you’ll need some time to get rid of it too.

Cellulite are the most embarrassing mark that could ever seen by other people. They are distinguishing marks of those skin that were being stretch up to the extent that our skin can no longer held or let's just say that they were extremely stretch away. These marks were really hard to treat but a lot of people are still hoping that they might be able to totally eradicate it.
