Brand Feature: Star Lash

Founded in 2008, Star Lash is Singapore’s very own local brand of synthetic lashes! Not only that, the brand also has other types of eye makeup, including eyeliners, lash glue and even eye makeup remover. I attended the Star Lash “Complete the Lash” workshop last week and got my hands on some of their products. Here are some of them; check it out!

Star Lash’s Princess 19 lashes.

Star Lash’s bottom lashes, DB 34.

I’ve yet to try their lashes but from what the other girls at the workshop have said, and from what I’ve seen on them, the lashes look very natural (they blend in very nicely with your natural lashes on the lids) when put on and don’t obstruct your view. I’ll do a good review when I can! These lashes are also made from synthetic material and can be used up to 10 times. There are currently 123 designs, and you could check out their party range of lashes that come with feathers and glitter!

The Star Lash Eye Makeup Remover / Corrector.

The Star Lash Eye Makeup Remover / Corrector is something new and interesting. It’s basically cotton buds with a hollow tube filled with light blue-coloured makeup remover. When you twist and open one end of the bud, it releases the makeup remover into the other end at the bottom. This makes it ready to be used. How convenient, and definitely safe for flights!

Swatches of the Star Lash Automatic Gel Eyeliner Pencils in Midnight Blue and Hot Bronze.

The Star Lash Automatic Gel Eyeliner Pencils come in 5 shades in all: Intense Black, Sexy Brown, Hot Bronze, Midnight Blue and Black Glitter. Although Midnight Blue doesn’t go on as smooth as Hot Bronze, both do not smudge one bit when applied and are long-wearing. They are also waterproof and are removed easily with makeup remover. Midnight Blue is blue glitter on dark blue liner, while Hot Bronze is gold glitter on dark metallic bronze, kind of like Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Stash.

For those of you who prefer liquid liners, the Lightning Liquid Eyeliner WP is also up in stores in two classic shades, Intense Black and Sexy Brown. For more of their other products, do drop by their counters at major retailers like Watsons, Sa Sa, BHG, Jonh Little and Pink Beauty. You can also take a look at the products featured on the Star Lash website.
