How did you spend Valentine’s Day? I hope no one got depressed because you didn’t have a special someone to celebrate it with. I read somewhere that it’s really not that bad if you haven’t a Valentine for February 14th because on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, there are people out there who don’t have mums and dads to celebrate those days with. Always count your blessings because you have parents and you have friends!

I dropped by the Juicy Couture SS14 Collection launch with Mr. Ratatouille on V-Day and had such fun!

I skipped getting my portrait drawn on an iPad because the girl before me felt her picture looked weird and the artist took forever.

Juicy Couture SS14

My outfit for the event.

Top: Black lace cropped top from a local blog shop

Skirt: High-Waisted Black Pencil from Zara Basics

Shoes: Black Sandals from New Look

Bag: Classic 2.55 Jumbo from Chanel

The makeup for the night was done using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette for the eyes. It’s my current favourite palette because all the colours suit my skin tone perfectly and the shades can be used for both day and night! The lip colour of the night was YSL’s Rouge Volupté in Nude Beige. My fragrance for the night? None other than my classic Coco Mademoiselle from Chanel.

Here’s how you can get the look!

It was a fun night with Mr. Ratatouille at the event, as we browsed through the new collection (actually this part was more of me); enjoyed the finger food and cool air conditioning; and watched people practise yoga. We hopped over to Spathe Public House down the same street after that for a nice dinner. It was Valentine’s Day after all.
