Review & Swatch: The Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick

by Roxanne C.

Guerlain KissKiss

En français, on dit <<rouge à lèvres>>. Mais le KissKiss est quelque chose différent – c’est une crème pour vos lèvres.

In french, we say “lipstick.” But Guerlain’s KissKiss is something different – It’s a cream for your lips. And rightly so, because this lipstick gives a creamy finish, making your lips look really kissable and hard to resist!

Guerlain KissKiss 361

The lippie in its original packaging. The shade I’ve got is 361 Excessive Rose.

Guerlain KissKiss 361

A great hot pink that instantly whitens your teeth and brightens your smile!

A lipstick that looks great on any dresser, and adds that needed pop of colour.

A close-up on the bottom of the lipstick. Love the Guerlain engraving.

Guerlain KissKiss 361 Swatch

And finally, a swatch! The lipstick isn’t shimmery; It’s just reflection of light.

I love this shade from the Guerlain KissKiss Collection! I wore it to work one day, and got tons of comments on it, all of which were positive! It does stain cups when you take sips, but most of the colour stays on for a good 8 hours at least. I wore this from 6am till 6pm, and it only needed a re-touch at about 5pm (by this time, my lips still looked bright pink overall but had turned uneven in tone).

The KissKiss engraved on the lipstick is a nice touch, as is the Guerlain engraving on the lipstick case. Nothing speaks glamour like expensive packaging. A little trivia: The formula for this lipstick has never changed one bit ever since it hit the market decades ago! This shade, 361 Excessive Rose, is perfect for that perk-me-up when you need it, and when you think everyone around you needs some colour in their lives too. Hot pink is one of my favourite colours, on top of nude blush and turquoise, and this one is my new-found Friday lip colour!

What do you think of this shade? Is there any other shade you’d like to check out from the Guerlain KissKiss Collection?
