I miss Europe. A lot. If you do follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you’ve probably read about my wishes to return to France. So imagine my heart skipping a beat when I found this little nook by surprise when searching for a location for today’s outfit shoot! The weather was rainy to begin with, so I was all dressed up and all made up with just about nowhere to go (Do you ever get that?). Mr. Ratatouille and I decided to head out anyway for brunch, since we rarely get any alone time together.

This place reminded me of winter in Grenoble and Lyon, two of my favourite cities in France, and also the two cities where I spent most of my time when I lived there for a while. How I wish I could go back to the times where I could sit in bars and just hang out with friends over beer while the snow fell gently outside! Alas, those days are over but hopefully it won’t be long before I relive these memories.

That said, this bag from Maku Store Singapore is a god-send. It’s come at a time when I’ve decided to take up jogging and what more convenient way to carry all my items than in a backpack? Looking back, the last time I owned a backpack was at least 10 years ago. I’m glad it’s making the rounds again in recent seasons (see, fashion is recycled).

I was looking for something that was big enough for all my sporty stuff, and this one fits exactly that – and more.

Love the little pink diamond.

It fits my money pouch, cosmetics pouch, sportswear, umbrella, water bottle and Crabtree & Evelyn perfume and still has space for more.

I announced in my previous post on Maku Store that I’m currently collaborating with the brand as one of their preferred bloggers. Do read this entry to find out how you can score 20% off your purchase immediately!  I’d like to hold a giveaway at the end of the month, so do look out for it. Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog as well by typing in your email at the top of this page so that you’ll be notified the moment the giveaway starts.

Now let’s talk about those pretty white sandals! I scored them at a Steve Madden private sale event at $50 off. I must admit, though, that heels aren’t ideal for walking in snow. These white ones are so feminine and easy to walk in. It’s a really close dupe for the YSL Classic Jane heels, and cost just a fraction of the price. Definitely a worthy investment in my books!

Well, what do you think of this outfit? Leave your comment at the end of this post!
