Weekends are so precious to me because that’s when Xavier has time to be with us and we can spend some proper family time together.
We brought Aurélie out to Jewel Changi Airport and since it’s Christmas month, decorations and sales are aplenty! We usually drop by the mall on Sundays for lunch. Apart from the wide variety of restaurants, they’re also all indoors where it’s cool (and sunny on the top floor) and the nursing rooms are so luxurious! So far, the nursing rooms at Jewel are my absolute favourite out of all the ones I’ve been to in Singapore.
This is my first video filmed with the Olympus Pen E-PL9. I haven’t had time to figure out the white balance and stuff, so everything in this vlog is completely basic – and yet it’s so good.
The baby carrier we have is the Pognae No 5 Plus all-in-one with a hip seat, and I highly, highly recommend this carrier for all parents. We bought this this year at one of the baby fairs, and at the time, I was 7 months pregnant and way too tired to pick a carrier I liked. So Xavier picked this, and I went along with it.
I rediscovered it this week, and I must say: It’s the best carrier ever.
Mainly because of the hip seat, which means you can carry the baby front-facing all day long and your arms won’t be maxed out. It’s got detachable napkins that are attached to the straps and baby head support, it can be converted to be used during colder and hotter months (therefore, essentially all seasons)… and you can also unzip the hip belt to put your sleeping baby down without waking him/her!
