I first discovered Spanish footwear brand Ria Menorca back in late 2018 while shopping at Takashimaya. The first thing that drew me to their shoes were the bling, and when I tried them on, they were just so comfortable that I had to get myself a pair.
You’d have seen the pair I bought in my various selfies or OOTD posts over the following months.
So when I was recently contacted by a rep at Ria Menorca to collaborate with them, it was a definite yes. I dropped by Binibeca Fashion at Tanglin Mall to discover all the Spanish brands in-house and was happy to find Victoria, Gioseppo and La Siesta as well.

I tried on so many pairs of shoes that day just to have a feel, and my gosh. They were all so comfortable! The most surprising were the platform heels from Ria Menorca – they were so much lighter than they looked. What I also liked about all the shoes I tried on was that they fitted my wide Asian feet pretty well.

I was allowed to pick a pair to bring home. It was a tough decision between some red heels from Ria Menorca and blinged-out flat sandals from Gioseppo. In the end I picked the sandals because:
- I had been on the lookout for flat bejeweled sandals for a while.
- These leather ones were so comfortable.
I guess you could say I manifested my sandals.
In any case, I was so excited to do an unboxing that afternoon. Since Aurélie was up, we did the unboxing together. Check it out below!
