TLDR: The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer is a good concealer with at least medium coverage, does not streak nor settle into lines, blends well and washes off easily with a facial cleanser. Read on for a more detailed review!

This is yet another beauty product I think everyone should try at least once. I was previously using the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer but needed something with higher coverage as my freckles started showing up on my cheekbones. It was a tight contest between the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and I chose the former because Nars didn’t seem to have a shade that suits me.

Which brings me to my first “pro” of the Fenty concealer—it comes in so many shades! 50, to be exact, on the Sephora.sg site. In comparison, the Nars concealer has 30. The current shade I’m using is 230, and I use this as a one-stop solution for eye bags, freckles, skin redness and as a T-zone highlighter.

Finally, a quick review of the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer! Been using it for months now. It’s not 100% opaque, so my spots still do show through a little bit. What I like about this concealer: – not too pricey – DOES. NOT. STREAK. NOR. BUDGE. – doesn’t settle into lines – washes off easily with a cleanser I do end off my look with a dusting of compact powder, plus bronzer and blush, FYI. More detailed review will be in my blog soon! 💖 #beautytok #beauty #fentybeauty @Fenty Beauty

I love love love this concealer, and would definite repurchase. In the humid Singapore weather and on my mid-30’s skin, it doesn’t budge once dry, and doesn’t settle in lines as well. It blends well when applying—you just have to wait a little bit before you get started on blending so it can stay put on the skin better. It hasn’t broken me out, and washes off easily with some facial cleanser at the end of the day.

A recent LOTD with the concealer on.

The concealer looks natural on my skin and not cakey at all. It doesn’t have any noticeable scent and doesn’t break me out either. The coverage is medium. I have not tried to add a second layer to completely mask my freckles because I do like to let my skin breathe (and what’s wrong with a little freckle peeking through?). If absolutely necessary, I would recommend waiting for the first layer to dry completely before you add another layer on.

Price-wise, for S$45 at Sephora, I think it’s reasonable for a product of this quality. Now I’m tempted to try a shimmer highlighter from the same brand!
